The Weismans

A big update (you might want to read to the end).

I stayed home from church last Wednesday night as I hadn’t been feeling well all day (more on that later…). I heard Simon going CRAZY at the window and figured someone must be out there. No, not someONE but some birds…lots of them…everywhere!! I can’t believe he didn’t warn me during the “intrusion”…some guard dog! The culprits assumed we’d all be at church. It would’ve been funny if I’d caught them in the act. I think my mouth about dropped to the floor when I saw this! Anyway, we feel thoroughly welcomed now :)

We are official Floridians with our licenses, EZ Pass for tolls, and, yes, Annual Passes to Disney World. We decided before we moved that IF our house sold and we could fit it in the budget we’d do it. We actually ended up getting a pretty good deal. We got mine on my b-day so since Disney gives everyone a free ticket on their b-day mine went toward the cost of the AP. Then we have friends who gave us 10% off AP discount cards. We used gift cards for the rest of the cost! So, we’ve been to the parks about every weekend. Luke absolutely loves it.

Okay, so like I said, I’ve been feeling kind of bad lately. But I’m okay with that. I’m great with that actually because we will get to see the end result to all this puking around March 29. We found out we were expecting the day before my b-day so that was quite a b-day surprise! And, no, I haven’t been riding roller coasters or Tower of Terror at Disney World. I’m sticking to the Lukey rides. We were able to get an early ultrasound on Monday. Baby measured right at 9 weeks and gave us a great shot of him/her. The u/s tech was thrilled that we could see the full body and all 4 of his/her arm and leg buds. I’m already so anxious to hold this little squirt.  Luke is going to be an awesome big brother. He loves babies (he says, “baby, gentle”). He is already counting to 10 and runs at full speed around the house. Big Boy!

Our house in Indiana is officially sold (Praise the Lord!) And we are in the process of negotiating with a bank on a bank-owned home here.  If we are able to get it, it will require some work but has lots of room and I really love it. So, needless to say, we’ve got a lot going on. We are absolutely loving it here and are thrilled with how God is putting everything into place. I’ll try to do much better with updates. I’ve got some pictures I want to get on here that Kevin is going  work on tonight.
Lots of love!

Great update! I guess that was your Youth Group who gave you the birds. We are praying for you guys daily.

Love you,

Grandma Prissy

yay bran! so excited for baby number 2! And it’s so cool you are in Orlando. My uncle and aunt and their highschool age kids live there so there is a chance we’ll make it down at some point!
